The Executive Team
The Global Executive Management Group consists of the three executive directors of ICAP and six members of senior management and meets six times a year.Mark Beeston is Chief Executive Officer for ICAP’s post trade risk business. Prior to joining ICAP, Mark spent four years as President of T-Zero (now ICELink), a subsidiary of Creditex Group Inc (now ICE). Mark spent 13 years at Deutsche Bank where amongst other roles he served as Chief Operating Officer for Global Credit Trading (2002-2005), Chief Operating Officer for OTC Derivatives (2001-2002) and global head of Money Market Derivatives trading (1999-2001). Mark has represented Deutsche Bank at board level across numerous industry companies and associations including ISDA, Markit, OTCDerivNet and DTCC DerivServ. | |
David Casterton is Chief Executive Officer of ICAP London and EMEA. Since June 2008 he has been responsible for all voice broking, technology and support functions in London and EMEA. Prior to joining ICAP in 1995 he was with MW Marshalls and Guy Butler International. | |
Hugh Gallagher is Chief Executive Officer of Asia Pacific, a position which he has held since September 2010. He has more than 25 years experience working in OTC markets in the region. Hugh joined ICAP in 1999, prior to this he held senior positions at ExCo and Astley Pearce in Foreign Exchange and Money Markets. ICAP’s regional footprint encompasses multiple offices across 12 countries. Hugh is responsible for all voice broking, technology and support functions through out the region. | |
Gil Mandelzis is Chief Executive Officer at EBS, where he is responsible for managing ICAP’s global electronic foreign exchange trading business on the award-winning EBS platform since March 2012. Gil has enormous experience and depth of knowledge of the FX market and changing customer needs in this asset class. His first priority as CEO is to develop and implement EBS’ strategy to ensure the platform remains the most reliable source of orderly, executable and genuine FX liquidity. In addition to his role at EBS, Gil is Executive Chairman of Traiana, which he co-founded in 2000. Gil led Traiana’s growth from a small start-up to a recognised global leader in post-trade services, resulting in Traiana’s acquisition by ICAP in 2007. Gil is a member of ICAP's Global Executive Management Group and was appointed to the New York Federal Reserve's Foreign Exchange Committee in 2012. He holds an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. | |
Mark Price is the Group Chief Operating Officer. He joins ICAP from Deutsche Bank where from 2009 to 2011 he was Chief Operating Officer for Global Credit and Emerging Market Debt. Whilst at Deutsche Bank he held a number of senior COO and operating responsibilities roles, including being the COO for Sales, Deputy Head of the Middle Office, and head of the Credit Trading Product Control Group. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank in 1998, Mark worked at Merrill Lynch in London for 3 years in Credit Derivatives Product Control. From 1989 to 1995, he was a senior auditor at Ernst and Young where he became a qualified AAT and ACA. | |
Douglas Rhoten is Chief Executive Officer of ICAP Americas. He is also a director of SIF ICAP S.A. de C.V., ICAP’s joint venture in Latin America. He is a founding member of The Green Exchange and a former member of the US Federal Reserve Bank Foreign Exchange Committee. | |
Duncan Wales is group general counsel, and responsible for the global legal function since December 2008. He has occupied a number of senior roles within the legal and compliance departments at ICAP, including director of government affairs. Prior to its acquisition by ICAP in 2003, he was director of legal affairs at BrokerTec. As well as having experience in investment banking Duncan spent five years at Clifford Chance as a derivatives and OTC markets specialist. He is a member of the GC 100 Group. |
